Queensborough & Hamilton
Community Conversations

Welcome to Community Conversations, a grassroots, non-political initiative led by JD Puri. Having served the Queensborough and Hamilton areas as a pharmacist since 2010, JD is dedicated to ensuring our neighborhoods receive the attention, amenities, and advocacy they deserve.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple:
To hear directly from YOU.

Community Conversations is a grassroots, non-political community group created to hear directly from YOU about the things that matter most — resident concerns, better amenities, traffic control, and small business success strategies.

We are self-funded, not political, and focused on productive, positive, goal-oriented conversation — aiming to improve our neighbourhoods peacefully through collaboration. When needed, we work respectfully with municipal, provincial, and federal partners to advocate for the improvements Queensborough & Hamilton deserve.

Meet JD Puri

Hello, neighbour.

My name is JD Puri, and I have had the pleasure of serving Queensborough and Hamilton as a pharmacist and pharmacy student dating back to 2010. I first worked at Wal-Mart, and later opened my own Pharmasave Health Centre at 23233 Gilley Road, where I continue to serve families across both neighbourhoods.

Originally from a small town — Quesnel, B.C. — I have always been drawn to Queensborough and Hamilton because it feels like home. I have never appreciated that our neighbourhoods get the short end of the stick compared to other parts of New Westminster and Richmond — so I created Community Conversations to do something about it.

I am often at the pharmacy — feel free to stop by anytime to chat or learn about programs like our FREE Nurse at Home Program and other health services that support our community. Together, we can THRIVE.
